Samuel Adler

Sam Adler is a member of the firm’s Congressional Investigations, White Collar Defense and Investigations, and E-Discovery, AI, and Information Governance Practice Groups. He advises clients across a range of industries responding to high-stakes inquiries and investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and Congress. He also conducts internal investigations into sensitive matters involving significant legal and reputational risks.

Sam has significant experience working with clients on matters involving artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, including handling investigations related to AI, advising on the responsible development and use of AI and machine learning systems, and developing policies and governance practices regarding AI, ephemeral messaging, and data retention.

Sam also maintains an active pro bono practice that includes representations of a criminal justice reform organization and an inmate seeking post-conviction relief, as well as case screening work with the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project.
